About our client Our client is a successful international investment company based in Luxembourg, with over €2 billion AUM. The firm targets mid-sized companies across all sectors, and has the flexibility to execute majority, minority and/or co-investments in the DACH region, France and Benelux. They seek to enhance the value of companies through an entrepreneurial and supportive approach as their majority shareholders are various entrepreneurial families.
With a growing investment pipeline, the DACH-focused private equity team are looking for an Analyst to grow their deal doing capabilities.

What the job involves - Engage in active screening to identify relevant target companies
- Conduct full company due diligence
- Set-up detailed financial models and carry out company valuations
- Prepare investment reports and presentations for the decision-making process
- Take an active ownership view and work with industry experts and management teams to identify and implement value-creating change measures
Who we are looking for - Master's degree, ideally in economics, business administration or finance or equivalent
- Analyst level experience gained in strategy consulting, investment banking, the Big 4 or an investment firm; long term internships are welcome too
- Genuine interest in active ownership of companies from the perspective of a business owner rather than an institutional passive investor
- Strong analytical skills with financial modelling experience
- You feel at ease in the Mittlestand environment
- Fluent in German and English, French would be an advantage
- The role is based in Luxembourg, so you must be willing to be based there full time
