FundPartner Solutions (Europe) S.A. ("FPS Europe"), a Pictet Group company set up in January 2012, offers its clients a first-rate fund administration service and, in anticipating future regulatory challenges, positions itself as a management company dedicated to third-party fund clients. 

FPS Europe is a Luxembourg UCITS and AIFM management company subject to Chapter 15 of the Luxembourg law of 17 December 2010 on undertakings for collective investment, as well as the Law of 12 July 2013. FPS Europe covers all the tasks related to fund administration, including fund accounting and NAV calculation, risk management, transfer agent, distribution and domiciliary services, together with investment controlling and a Director's Office. In doing so, it offers the entire range of services related to aspects of risk, governance and regulations.

 

FundPartner Solutions (Europe) S.A. is seeking to recruit a Head of Compliance & MLRO for the Risk & Compliance FPS LUX unit of its Luxembourg-based Technology & Operations Division.

 

Your role

 

To be responsible for the compliance of FPS (Europe) SA. This includes defining the compliance framework, defining and executing compliance monitoring and AML-CFT and KYC obligations (2nd level). To constantly drive and enhance the Compliance Operating Model in line with regulations while also focusing on digitalising, leveraging data and automating controls and processes. 

To foster a positive compliance and ethical culture within FPS.

 

  • To identify and advise on all applicable regulatory rules, regulations and requirements (internal and external) and lead the compliance action plan as required.
  • To ensure that FPS's activities are conducted in compliance with applicable rules, regulations and requirements as they evolve.
  • To ensure, as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), that AML-CFT and KYC obligations are met.
  • To perform and enhance the compliance framework monitoring, including thematic reviews.
  • To identify, assess and mitigate the compliance risks associated with FPS's business activities, such as new products and new business relationships.
  • To perform the compliance risk assessment and design mitigation plans as required.
  • To establish and update compliance policies and procedures.
  • To assist and advise clients, staff and governing bodies on compliance matters. 
  • To design and provide compliance training.
  • To draft various compliance reports for the Board of Directors, regulators, Group, etc.
  • To perform oversight of the transfer agent to ensure compliance with processes, and internal directives/rules and regulations.
Your profile

 

  • Relevant compliance expertise gained over a minimum of 7-10 years, together with management experience.
  • Previous MLRO experience
  • Knowledge of FATCA & CRS rules
  • University degree
  • In-depth understanding of all business and operational activities of a Luxembourg management company.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment (including EU/CSSF rules and regulations) applicable to management companies and alternative investment fund managers. 
  • In-depth knowledge of AML-CFT rules and regulations.
  • Strong compliance expertise with a team management background.
  • Sound knowledge of financial products and instruments.
  • Ability to set clear compliance strategy and direction.
  • Strong leadership, managerial and people skills.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Can-do attitude with a drive for decision and implementation.
  • Strong priority-management skills at both individual and team levels.
  • Skilled at navigating complex and global organisations.
  • Flexible, pragmatic and solution oriented.
  • Strong industry network.
  • Fluent in French and in English, both verbally and written. Other languages would be an asset.
