RiverBank is recruiting an IT Systems and Application Team Lead for its Luxembourg office.

RiverBank’s Engineering team is composed of members with extensive tech experience that have built dozens of solutions from the ground up across North America, Europe and Asia. The Engineering team works in a dynamic environment and tries to stay up to date with technology. Some of that technology includes: ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Node.js, SQL Server, Dapper, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Angular, Vue.js, Kafka and Kubernetes.

As RiverBank is expanding in multiple financial areas and across borders we see the need to automate more and more of our work. To facilitate this, we are in the process of designing or implementing several solutions: Core Banking Systems, Collections Systems, New Products  requiring increased automation and enhanced loan origination channels, automated Data gathering systems, Continuous Monitoring Platforms and more.

 

This team lead will run a professional IT support team covering all business areas of RiverBank.  Reporting to the CTO and responsible to monitor the performance of the Bank’s applications and infrastructure, the candidate will have experience running IT service operations according to performance metrics such as:

  • Cost per ticket
  • Customer satisfaction
  • First-contact resolution
  • Technician utilization
  • Mean time to resolve
  • Technician job satisfaction
  • Balanced scorecard

 

Core responsibilities:

  • Management of IT support team
  • Organize IT support across all departments, branches and subsidiaries of the Bank
  • Perform and organize maintenance of all IT systems (application and database support) both onsite and remotely
  • Monitor all IT performance and security metrics
  • Liaise with 3rd party IT infrastructure and application providers to pre-empt issues and manage and upgrade/installs
  • Manage and follow up of support tickets (with metrics based on criticality) entered into the tracking system
  • Monitor IT-related incidents
  • Identify and solve any long-term platforms issues and implement continuous improvement process
  • Ensure all processes are documented with procedure manuals and updated and available
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT functionality, assets and services
  • Further develop internal processes to improve support metrics
  • Manage process and governance around projects requiring IT support and transition of applications from development to production

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Strong Knowledge of Windows server OS (2012 – 2019) and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Windows 10
  • Knowledge of Linux and Shell
  • Knowledge of dev stacks
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET applications
  • Knowledge of Golang or Python is a plus
  • Cybersecurity training and good practices for system administrator
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of programming and deployment good practices
  • Knowledge of OS installation and setup
  • Problem solver
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in English
