Junior Compliance Officer

Client focused - full time - Luxembourg

Job Purpose:

The role of the Junior Compliance Officer is to organize and monitor follow-up on specific matters (file reviews) jointly with Senior Compliance Officer and Compliance Officer and to maintain also compliance database and administration according to procedures with assistance of Compliance Junior.

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Legal / Business studies;
  • Practical knowledge of compliance and AML/KYC processes and legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Relevant experience of 2-3 years, ideally within a trust company/fiduciary/domiciliation agent;
  • We will also consider: Bank, Fund industry, law firm, Audit firm, Transfer Agency;
  • Very good attention to detail, proactive, eager to learn and problem solving skills. Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Fluent in English, French will be considered as an asset;
  • Excel skills will be considered as an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of file reviews (initial check);
  • Maintaining of file reviews statistics and reporting + ad-hoc reporting and monthly reporting to senior management;
  • Assisting and participating in specific projects initiated by the compliance team;
  • Liaising with TMF group compliance;
  • Providing support to legal + admin teams/liaise with legal + admin teams on specific requests;
  • Maintaining compliance database and administration according to procedures with the compliance team Assistant
  • Monitoring completion of KYC-files including review of documents provided to the Compliance team, communication with servicing teams and setting up regular meetings on pending KYC
