Logistics Manager

Redstone Commodity Search are working with a European Base Metal Trading House looking to hire a Logistics Manager to join the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Create and develop export documentation for the shipment making sure they comply with the contract terms
• Plan and track shipment of the containerised products according to customer requirements
• Ensure shipping methods comply with local, state, federal and international regulations
• Collaborate with the finance team to create a budget and report to the management team.
• Provide excellent customer service

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum 4 years working in a coordinator role either in the shipping or agriculture industry
• Familiarity with relevant rules, regulations and standards
• Capable of taking own initiative, managing and containing workload and confidence in working independently and taking ownership
• Track record of working in a pressurised environment, tracking a portfolio of shipments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
