We are looking for an experienced Private Equity / Real-Estate Middle-Officer to join our dynamic team of professionals based in Luxembourg City.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will act as a first point of contact for our Investment Teams (Private Equity / Real Estate) and be responsible for handling their requests in a timely and efficient manner:

  • Review of fund valuations (NAV) and annual financial statements
  • Manage issuance of Capital Call and Distribution notices
  • Provide cash management and forecasting analyses to the Front Office teams
  • Provide expenses analyses (OPEX) of our investment vehicles or at fund launch / liquidation
  • Contribute to the year-end Audit planning and execution, liaising with our external Administrator and Auditor
  • Prepare fund performance analyses (IRR / CoC returns) to our Investment Teams
  • Oversee the production of periodic Tax and VAT return process
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses linked to Carried Interest computations (Waterfalls)
  • Contribute actively to operational process improvement efforts (procedures and workflows, documentation management)

You will support our Business Development team and CRMs in their fund raising, client management and marketing activities:

  • Review quarterly Investor Reports and Capital Account Statements
  • Provide Confirmation of Holdings to our Investors
  • Prepare responses to Investor queries related to their investment portfolio liaising with our Business Development team / CRMs

You will contribute to various transversal projects:

  • New investment vehicle launches / liquidations
  • QCP Investment database implementation
  • Maintenance of Investor holdings and records

Your Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent from an Engineering / Business School or accredited College or University, majoring in Finance
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Asset Management / Private Equity Investment Management
  • Knowledge of various financial products is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Luxembourg Compliance and Tax regulation and of investment vehicles is an advantage

Your Attributes and Skills:

  • Well-structured and organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and flexible, applying a results-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in French and/or English
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership skills and ability to drive initiatives autonomously
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications, Data Visualisation Tools (MS Power BI, Tableau Software)
  • Knowledge of collaborative tools - Sharepoint / Teams

The Middle-Office of Quilvest Capital Partners supports the entire span of activities of the firm and is comprised of 5 team members supervised by the Head of Operations.

Our role is to:

  • Provide daily support to our Front Office teams in the monitoring of their investment portfolio
  • Act as coordinator between all QCP investment and support teams, the AIFM, our external providers and the Luxembourg Regulator
  • Control the functions delegated to our external service providers and monitor service quality and delivery
  • Compute and administer Carried Interest
