Your team

 

FundPartner Solutions (Europe) S.A., a Pictet Group company set up in 2012, provides a full suite of fund administration and private-label fund services. Its global team of industry experts specialises in fund domiciliation, registration and governance, as well as risk compliance and investment management services.

 

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner with good knowledge of the fund industry for our FundPartner Solutions Division in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will become the principal point of contact for our business and technical stakeholders for all TA-related matters. The role will be based in Luxembourg.

Your role

 

Working with business and IT stakeholders as well as the Front Office and our internal and external clients, your main responsibilities as a Product Owner / Business Analyst will be:

 

  • To maintain a backlog of projects, change requests and incidents and to coordinate the priorities and resolution of these with business stakeholders, IT delivery teams and Architecture.

 

  • To assume ownership of the backlog and its contents; to decide between conflicting interests and communicate regularly with senior management on progress.

 

  • To set up and facilitate communication and discussion with the Front Office, our clients and other departments of the Pictet Group and to exchange and collaborate with them and propose resolutions on data (and systems) problems, issues and change requests.

 

  • To enforce data governance practices for our fund data in line with the policies and guidelines published by the Chief Data Officer’s office and to ensure that they are adopted by key stakeholders.

 

  • To coordinate business acceptance testing of fixes and new features in our fund applications.

 

  • To contribute to architecture and design decisions that have an impact on fund data and applications.

 

This position will report directly to the Deputy Head of Transfer Agent.

 

Your profile

 

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Law or Management.

 

  • First experiience (gained through similar role, operational role in TA domain or consultant)

 

  • Good knowledge of the fund industry.

 

  • Good understanding of Luxembourg fund regulations.

 

  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology.

 

  • Used to being in direct contact with sophisticated and demanding clients.

 

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools.

 

  • Knowledge of some BI tools (Tableau or Business Objects) will be considered a plus.

 

  • Experience of working with Temenos’ Multifonds will be deemed a distinct advantage.

 

  • Fluent in French and English. Any other language would be an asset.

 

  • Demonstrable experience in change management activities.

 

  • Convincing speaker, ability to synthesise complex issues and tailor the message to your audience.

 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 

  • Self-motivated, independent, flexible and well organised.

 

  • As a strong team player you work transparently and are motivated by the team’s collective success.

 

  • You enjoy rising to a challenge and working outside your comfort zone
