Our client, a global financial institution is looking for a Business Developer who will lead the sales and business performance as well as be responsible for driving profitable growth by acquiring, developing and servicing long-term relationships with clients in the target markets of the bank.
Duties Include:
- Build and expand the portfolio within the Securities Services / Fund Administration Division in the target markets.
- Be responsible for identifying and recruiting clients (fund promoters and asset managers) for the business.
- Manage all procedural documentation accordingly.
- Establish and sustain new business relationships by the new business procedures of the institution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop bespoke solutions for client needs.
- Communicate new methods and procedures on a fund to all relevant staff.
- Evaluate the risks involved in the business, taking into consideration legal and regulatory requirements as well as the impact of technological advancements.
- Coordinate with other departments on different fund queries and reconciliations.
The preferred candidate must have an extensive network and business development experience in Securities Services / Fund Administration businesses. Fluency in English and French is essential. You should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills and be able to interact at all levels of business efficiently.
