Providing ongoing oversight of portfolio management activities undertaken by the delegated portfolio managers (in line with local market practices), the Senior Manager – Portfolio Oversight will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Collaborating closely with the Conducting Officer in charge of the Portfolio Management function
- Assist with the collation, generation and analysis of portfolio management data for portfolios
- Preparing summary reports for relevant internal committees and funds’ Board meetings
- Maintain the investment restriction guidelines log and follow-up on UCITS breaches
- Assist with the ongoing enhancement of the portfolio management oversight framework, analysis tools and reporting and assist in the corporate Asset Management project to develop portfolio management oversight and reporting
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues in other offices across the globe
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and new fund launches
- Monitoring of fund ESG characteristics in line with SFDR requirements
- Analyse monitoring tools such as quarterly KPIs and annual confirmations
- Present and report to Management committees and boards
- Alert management of any significant changes to business risks and internal controls
- Notify management and/or Compliance immediately of any regulatory breach
The successful Senior Manager – Portfolio Oversight will meet the following credentials:
- Proven experience in investment oversight / portfolio oversight, manager research, or a similar analytical discipline
- Previous experience within investment management
- Knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory landscape
- Working knowledge of UCIT funds
