Senior Private Assets Oversight Officer, Leading Alternative Investment Firm, Luxembourg

About our client

We are partnering with a leading European Alternative Investment Group which is looking to hire a Senior Private Assets Oversight Officer to their Luxembourg Finance function. This position will work across a wide variety of responsibilities across private asset operations, working closely alongside numerous internal and external functions. Working very closely alongside the Head of Operations this position will hold a crucial position within the firm, co-ordinating operations as well as monitoring outsourced activities, providing valuable support to the investment team and working across automation and efficiency initiatives. What the job involves

• Managing and coordinating operations linked to private assets products and mandates
• Checking on delegated and outsourced activities (NAV, reporting, transactions and client services)
• Coordinating with internal and external service providers (administrators, custodians, legal, tax)
• Instructing and monitoring funds and co-investment transactions lined to private asset structures
• Optimising and automating processes
• Providing support to the investment teams and to internal clients

Who we are looking for

• Fund experience desirable (in-house or service provider)
• Sound knowledge of private assets and fund operations
• Keen attention to detail, rigour, autonomous and excellent numeracy skills
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work alongside specialists from various teams
• Organisational skills, solution orientated and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Strong knowledge of Excel and various internal systems
