My client is one of the top performing infrastructure managers in Europe.
The independently owned firm manages billions in both brownfield and greenfield strategies in lock up private equity style funds. As it continues to grow and launch new strategies, it is looking to institutionalize its fundraising and investor relations team with the hire of a VP.
The new hire will work closely with the existing head and analyst on the team which has responsibility for global asset raising and servicing clients. From day one, they will be tasked with growing relationships with new investors and fundraising. Depending on their background, they will focus on LPs in specific geographies as a primary contact. The firm’s investor base is composed of consultants, private/public pensions, insurance companies, fund of funds, family offices, and government organizations. In addition to prospecting and attending roadshows, they will also have responsibility for managing relationships with existing investors and support on marketing and due diligence materials, competitor analysis, and conferences/ events.
My client is looking for a highly motivated individual who will fit in well with the interactive and dynamic culture of the firm. The right candidate will have experience with capital raising for private markets strategies whether from a GP, a placement agent or a traditional asset manager with relevant strategies, as well as knowledge of institutional investors and their different needs.
This is a unique opportunity to join an established and successful GP which is still very much in growth mode, where someone can have a significant impact as the investor relations function develops and the business launches new funds and strategies.
