Manager, Business Transformation and Strategic Implementation

Job Summary
HLB is embarking on a comprehensive multi-year regional organizational transformational journey encompassing products, channels and services across regional markets.

We are looking for talents with business transformation, strategy development, performance improvement and project implementation to lead business transformation initiatives. This is both a strategic and execution role with interaction at various levels from the C-levels to on-the-ground teams across HLB.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supports project leader in project management, business & organization transformation, strategy planning & development, performance improvement, process re-engineering and project implementation for bank-wide transformation initiatives
• Typical projects include overseeing the strategic planning and implementation rollout of transformation initiatives across omni-customer channels such as online banking, mobile banking, over the counters and contact center; process and performance improvement; reduction of turnaround times for product and services fulfilment; developing cognitive- digital customer experience journeys
• Conducts in-depth studies supported by quantitative analysis and interact with stakeholders to build business cases and develop solutions to translate organization-wide strategic direction into actionable and executable initiatives.
• Supports project leader in managing large-scale bank-wide projects that incorporate transformational, practical and innovative solutions to address business challenges and in achieving organizational goals
• Assist project leader in ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and communications with stakeholders from the ground. Work and collaborate with cross functional departments to ensure the scope and direction of the initiatives are on track to deliver the envisioned strategic and operational benefits
• Monitors the overall project progress and deliverables in meeting targets and datelines. Assist the project leader in driving and project manage the delivery of transformation programs that enhances the business performance and processes
• Assists project leader in maintaining project management disciplines and provides the processes, structures, tools and data analysis for individual project management and program management across the transformation to ensure predictability of the outcomes of each transformation initiative
• Instill and practice the Bank's values and principles.
• Continual progress in the innovation and contributing value-added service to the Bank.

Job Requirements
• Degree with 5-8 years of working experience within project management, quantitative analysis, finance/banking operations or process improvement
• Past experiences in management consulting, process re-engineering (LEAN, Six Sigma) and project management (PMP) would be desirable
• Strong qualitative analysis skills and demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment with diverse cultures and background
• Ability to articulate analyses and findings through written presentations/communications.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications especially PowerPoint and Excel
