Operational Risk Control & Monitoring

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting and working closely with Business Units and relevant stakeholders in operational risk matters with the objective to improve operational controls and mitigate operational and compliance risk. Among the key focus include:

(i) Data quality and data loss prevention controls and monitoring
(ii) Email content monitoring
(iii) Access review

• Ensure timely incident reporting in respect of regulatory breaches or non-compliance and operational risk events, provide analysis of such incidents and take actions to reduce non-compliance and operational lapses.

• Conduct self-assessments including Control Self-Assessment (CSA) and Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for the department as well as coordinate the conduct of these assessments within CFS division to ensure they are effectively carried out and meet the assessment objectives.

• Coordinating sales compliance monitoring and surveillance such as mystery shopping exercise to prevent and detect risk of non-adherence to sales procedures and inappropriate sales conduct or discipline, ensure effective communication and escalation to Business Units and Management about any compliance risk and possible lapses so that corrective actions may be taken on timely basis..



Qualifications
Job Requirements:

• At least degree level or equivalent education qualification
• At least 5 years working experience
• Experience in operational risk management and compliance is an added advantage.
• Able to work effectively as a team player.
• Pleasant personality with good working attitude, able to work independently, has sense of urgency and able to work within tight deadlines and able to multi-task independently with confidence.
