A successful candidate is expected to manage projects within a large programme including;
• Track program resources, timelines, budget, deliverables
• Provide transparency and reporting around project status and accomplishments
• Manage project governance and ensure delivery of all required artefacts
• Manage Third -party contributions to the overall programme
• Be 'ahead of the game' in identifying risks and challenges that may affect the project timelines and deliverables and define resolution strategies in collaboration with project team
• Be self-disciplined and a self-starter able to anticipate reporting requirements
• Work with multiple governance teams and their requirements, this may include PMO, ePMO, PRC, Ops Risk, Finance
• Ensuring delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan and programme governance arrangements
• Drive delivery in an Agile / waterfall environment
• The candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a high-profile strategic project.

Planning & Controls
• Implement controls based on but not limited to Project Governance Policy, Project Management standards and System Delivery Framework
• Responsible for defining the roles and responsibilities of project resources.
• Identify risks and threats to timeframes and deliverables before and define responses in collaboration with the project team
• Responsible for creating and managing project plans, forecasts, RAID log in bank wide toolset - Clarity

Monitoring & Reporting
• Drive Project Working Group meetings with all required stakeholders
• Track, monitor and provide regular reports on project metrics including; risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, resource capacity and skills, etc.
• Support Programme Manager / Senior Management in preparing for Programme level updates (e.g. Steer Co, Governance etc)

• Highly organised, independent, and self-motivated
• Good knowledge of programme and project management methods with relevant experience in the financial industry
• Good understanding of Scrum, combined with relevant experience of planning and execution - should be proficient with Agile Estimation techniques; should know how to support Senior Product
Owners in an Agile environment
• Good knowledge of projects financial management and resource allocation procedures
• Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to guide team members and influence Stakeholders
• Ability to comprehend & map Business and Technical Architectures and influence overall project decisions
• Results-orientated, able to deliver under pressure within short timeframes
• Ability to self-prioritise and "Triage" tasks
• Able to strike a balance between very detailed and complex data and being able to provide big picture strategic views
• Team player
• Excellent MS office skills, knowledge of toolsets like JIRA, Clarity would be preferred
• PMP Certified / SCM Certified
