Your job
Manages, monitors and reports on the status of AACB's I&O Services and the performance of the services delivered by the strategic ESP on a tactical and operational level in the context of the contracted services. Manages the relationship and contracts with the underlying key product vendors (to the ESP). Ensures that the communication/information triangle between AACB, the ESP and underlying key vendors is effective. Key result areas: Availability, robustness and reliability of infrastructure services Controls the reliability, agility and efficiency of the production of the infrastructure services. Makes (service level) agreements about the performance of infrastructure services with the ESP on behalf of internal customers and closely monitors the ESP's performance against those. Monitors & improves performance of ESP Checks service level reports against the contracted KPI's. Ensures service level reports get analysed by relevant service takers (SME's) and jointly discusses those with the ESP. Continuously improve the reporting quality and ensures that the service delivery by the ESP continuously improves. Market information Closely tracks the developments at the key vendors and its competitors and regularly reports on this to the MT of GTS. Identifies relevant information on suppliers, risks, opportunities, rates, etc. Is aware of the market prices and value for the key vendors. Ensure that the information is captured by the right people in decision making. Contract Management Is responsible to manage the contract with the ESP. Works together with 2nd line functions such as legal, compliance, procurement and HR at every change required to the contract. Works together with different units within AACB and AAB who hold similar or related responsibilities. Is responsible for an accurate administration. Communication Ensures that the contracts under management are well understood by all stakeholders within AACB. Ensures that all stakeholders understand the process to change contracts.

In a responsive and transparent manner we develop, operate, support, and maintain powerful business services and information systems that satisfy the needs of AACB's clients and staff. AACB is designated as a subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank NV. and consists of about 900 FTEs. ABN AMRO Clearing IT acts with a focus on both national and global level. IT Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) are delivered from a global organization unit, called Global Technology Services (GTS), with global reporting and budget responsibilities. Within the GTS unit, the Global Vendor Management unit is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment in which the long-term focus on customer needs is the starting point. It encourages an approach that places the customer centre stage, with an eye for the desired results. Seeks to strike a balance in the interests of the customer and the bank, where the customer's wishes and needs are key. The Global Vendor Management unit is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the (outsourced) I&O services (such as End User Services (EUS), Service Desk, Global IT Hosting) as well as managing the AACB requested delivery of service change by the External Service Provider. This also includes managing the contract with the ESP and management of the relationship and the contracts with the underlying product vendors (of the ESP).

  • Bachelor level and at least 7 years of experience in an IT related environments of which at least 3 years in a similar role
  • Fluent in English (working language of AACB is English)
  • At least 3 years of experience in an international organisation
Specific Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of IT information management at a bachelors level
  • Awareness of global ABN AMRO Clearing business and trends in this business.
  • Strong awareness of the role of IT service delivery in a highly regulated financial institution environment
  • Strong knowledge of relevant IT infrastructure service delivery components and developments
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with managing multi-vendor environment on a tactical and operational level, in particular service providers.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks, in particular ITIL V3.
  • Experience in a complex environment (internal and external stakeholders, different time zones, different cultures)
  • For the scope of the infrastructure and end user services domain; knowledge of trends.
