We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as AVP, Collections Back Office.

Principal responsibilities

  • Contributes to the bottom line by ensuring timely and accurate reporting to management and constantly seeks to improve efficiencies through automation
  • Reconciliation of suspense accounts
  • Drive higher efficiency through the use of Queries, to improve or rationalize system functions or business processes
  • Continuously initiate and identify ways to streamline operations
  • Take on ad hoc tasks assigned by Head of Collections
  • Able to work independently and exercise discretion on day to day operations and where needed, to obtain professional advice.
  • Liaise with internal parties on accounting and ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Able to work with Collections Managers, Risk Managers and other department
  • Enthusiastic and effective communicator
  • Provide monthly statistics of Bad and Doubtful accounts, preparation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual returns for submission to auditors, Money Authority of Singapore and other division. To provide profit and loss account summary for retail products under Retail Banking Wealth Management
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of entries on provisions and provide profit and loss summary for retail products, system maintenance on provisioning and write off.
  • Manage Collections Administrative Support ensuring non calling activities operates efficiently and effectively
  • Ongoing coaching and training for the team.To ensure monthly reconciliation of all Collections Suspense accounts


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Candiate will have relevant years of experience in Banking preferably collections
  • Understand the important of banking cultures and adhere to risk policies and procedures
  • Sound knowledge banking processes
  • Team player, able to meet tight deadlines
