You'll be working for a banking company who is looking for Business Analyst (Business Solutions Specialist) on a 1 year contract to be based in Singapore. This is BAU because of continuous demands from business on regulatory portfolio.
Your new role

- Involved in project and requirements. Look at the initial analysis, impact, costing, provide input to delivery streams.
- Understanding regulatory, Financial Market language, derivatives - Financial Market product.
- This team is part of client documenting channels. Whenever there's regulatory impact - individual will need to work with regulatory and compliance team and figure out technical solutions.
- Come up with estimate with delivery team then handover the work to deliveries team and get them up to speed.
- Be involved with workshops with Compliance, Operations etc so that Business Requirements can be documented.
- Support implementation and of new/updated processes to BAU to ensure regulatory change requirements are embedded in the operating procedures.
- Work closely with Compliance and Operational risk to map rules and obligations with processes and controls.
- Prepare Gap Analysis, Business Requirements Documents and Project Approval Requests.
- Document Actions from the workshops and assist with the tracking of the deliverables.
- Document the decisions taken in the workshops regarding the interpretation of the rules and the Operational, Business impact.
- Be a trusted counsellor with delivery team.
- Analyse and gain a detailed level understanding of Regulatory and Process themes/rules.
- Work closely with SME experts in various areas of the business gaining an understanding of their processes.
- Work closely with other members of the European Project Office/PMO team utilizing their knowledge and experience.
- Document and raise any Risks and Issues to the Product Owners, Business owners and Program Management.
- Take part in project testing cycles and assist with the preparation of test packs.
What you'll need to succeed
- Must have strong Financial Market knowledge in Derivatives, FX and Money Market.
- Prior experience in MIFID, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MAS, HKMA regulatory obligations from client documentation and reporting point of view.
- Regulatory project experience about 6 to 10 years of work experience - can work with compliance with different operations unit to write complex requirements in regulatory aspect.
- Some level of costing and planning experience.
- This role is open to PR and Singaporean candidates based in Singapore.
