Business Analyst, Regulatory Reporting Technology, Associate

This is a Business Analyst role for the Regulatory reporting group within Investment Banking technology and the position is based in Singapore. The candidate is expected to have strong Investment Banking domain experience and possess excellent inter-personal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand different asset classes, work with business users and analyze Regulatory reporting requirements and create necessary functional documents.
  • Facilitate business requirements discussions with users/product owners.
  • Analyze and document current state processes and incorporate appropriate changes to support business needs.
  • Closely work with the users / program team to understand the functional and non- functional requirements.
  • Perform data analysis to ensure the data requirements for regulatory reporting are fulfilled.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases and perform functional testing of the system.
  • Coordinate with the business users on UAT to ensure that the system is tested thoroughly.
  • Closely track change requests / ad hoc activities and communicate the impact on a timely basis.
    • Assist in addressing user queries and production incidents.
    • Ensure that best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle and ensure high quality output during all phases of the SDLC.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in the Investment Banking domain with a good understanding of regulatory reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively with business users, project manager, and developers in order to ensure high quality and on-time delivery.

  • Collaborates effectively with colleagues, users, and other business partners.

  • Experience in facilitating meetings among stakeholders within the organization.

  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.

  • Strong communication skills in English - verbal and written communication.

  • Reasonable working knowledge of SQL.
