Support the Global Head, Compliance, Process and Risk Control with planning, projects, communication governance and follow up on action items and deliverables

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Budget and Planning
* Assist in the budget and forecasting process across the various teams
* Work with direct reports of the Global Head of Compliance, Process and Risk Control on budget setting, and provide support on budget related queries processes and protocols
* Provide the support to ensure that the teams under the Global Head of Compliance, Process and Risk Control are sufficiently staffed by appropriate number of competent staff to perform their required deliverables

Reports and Projects
* Assist in the preparation and collation of information for reports to various committees and senior management and other stakeholders
* Support the delivery of and execution on projects, action items and deliverables, including supporting the direct reports of the Head of Compliance to ensure that the same are completed in a timely manner
* Co-ordinate input from various stakeholders and Country Compliance teams (where necessary) to ensure operational excellence in consistency of approach
* Organise team engagement events, CSR activities and team meetings / conferences as and when needed

Communication
* Help implement and develop effective communication plans to support communication of policies, procedures to Country Compliance teams and relevant stakeholders
* Help develop effective communication plans to support communication by the Global Head of Compliance, Process and Risk Control to the rest of the team
* Facilitate information sharing and best practices across the team

Governance and Management Information
* Support the collation, quality assurance and delivery management of information to key stakeholders
* Assist in the development and analysis of metrics, trends and key performance indicators through relevant programme tracking and monitoring
* Support the development and maintenance of programme management tools including SharePoint and trackers

Other responsibilities
* Ensure an effective infrastructure is in place to support the Head of Compliance and his teams (including planning and administration eg premises, IT)
* Maintain and update team information (eg organisational charts, distribution lists, cost centres, JDs etc)
* Maintain close relationships with all members of the team and all relevant stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

* Minimum 5 years experience in business management support role
* Understanding and ability to grasp Compliance and Operational Risk issues an advantage
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and multi cultural awareness and sensitivity
* Able to influence and work collaboratively with colleagues in both Compliance (Group and Country) and other group stakeholders (such as Operational Risk, GIA etc)
* Ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks in a high pressure environment
* Ability to write and communicate ideas succinctly
* Strong project management and organisational skills
* Flexible and responsive in order to handle changing priorities
* Advanced SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
* Attention to details
* Advanced analytical and numerical skills
* A disciplined approach to planning, execution and delivery
* Ability to handle sensitive matters at all levels of the organisation with discretion and confidentiality
