We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Retail Banking and Wealth Management team as Chief Distribution Officer, HSBC Insurance, Singapore.

Principal responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Retail Banking & Wealth Management (RBWM) channels and relevant team leads within Commercial Banking and Private Banking
  • Deliver upon the growth expectations of the non-bank and broker channels
  • Align with group strategic direction and growth initiatives to formulate and drive insurance distribution strategy in the country
  • Support RBWM to build best-in-class multi-channel customer-centric insurance distribution model, covering a range of Product Expert and Specialist roles
  • Create sales processes and platforms that meet compliance standards, improve customer experience and ensure proper governance
  • Develop effective distribution support and business development initiatives within Insurance to drive performance
  • Drive new business product mix through holistic management of campaigns, pricing, incentives and customer needs frameworks
  • Participate in discussion with local regulatory bodies when appropriate and stay updated on relevant regulatory developments

  • Degree holder with strong work experience
  • Deep understanding of the Singapore Insurance Market
  • Proven track record driving strategy and sales performance for Life Insurance in Singapore across channels would be advantageous
  • Excellent project management skills and financial savvy
  • Well-developed communication and influencing skills
  • Self-motivated and experienced in leading high performing teams to success
