Cloud Security / DevSec Engineer
Introduction to the role:
Leading Global Investment Bank and Financial Services firm seeks a tech savvy DevSec Engineer
Work on a diverse set of technologies and drive the delivery of cybersecurity controls as part of a brand new team
The Position:
- Design, engineer, and build automated security tools to catch security vulnerabilities in SDLC as early as possible
- Design, engineer, and build tooling to ensure best practices and standards are adhered in our cloud infrastructure
- Sit with business counterparts and apply relevant technology solutions to counter the problems they face.
- Deliver security automation to the CI/CD pipeline and continuously implement improvements to AWS Security
The Candidate:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
- In depth understanding of AWS data protection and security architecture
- Knowledge and experience of SQL, Power BI, Tableau and MS Power Suite
- Infrastructure as Code
- AWS Cloud certifications
- Experience with software development lifecycles methodologies/, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and associated tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity or related field
