Contract, Trading System Business Lead, Technology and Operations
Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Justification As T&M continues to build cutting edge capabilities into its modern trading system, we are inviting candidates who possess deep knowledge in both areas of IT technical skills and strong background on Treasury Markets products to join T&O ITT department in our exciting journey to build the next generation trading system. Job Duties and Responsbilities 1) Principle duties are collecting functional requirements from stakeholders, and able to document and explain the requirements to developer teams organized in a agile scrum setup
2) Lead and manage the requirements and work load of the technical development teams through the various scrum rituals
3) Facilitate requirements workshops to engage the various stakeholders such as Front Office, Middle Office, Finance users to elicit and validate business requirements.
4) Lead and manage issues during UAT/Sprints, and ensure all requirements have proper traceability.
Leverage the subject matter experts in Technology & Operations in delivery of structured and well-thought through solutions.
5) Become an effective "bridge" between users and technology.
6) Good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
7) Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational and technical considerations, and recommend sound solutions Required Experience 1) At least 8-10 years working as a technical lead or relevant roles (i.e. Quant, developer, product manager or involved in implementation/support of trading/risk systems)
2) Education - Bachelors or higher degree preferably in business (i.e. Banking/Finance, Master in Financial Engineering) or Computer Science/Engineering
3) Experience handling projects with many stakeholders, teams of developers and applications.
4) Possess strong business & technical subject matter knowledge.
5) Possess strong Treasury knowledge, familiar with product asset classes.
6) Candidate must have strong communication and written skills.
7) Must be organized, able to work with minimal supervision, flexible to switch and work on different projects and manage them in a timely manner
8) Working Experience in Agile delivery
9) Working experience Jira and Confluence tools.
10) Good working knowledge of SQL commands
11) Strong knowledge in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB)
12) Familiarity in NoSQL Database like MongoDB, Cassandra
13) Understands microservices oriented architecture
