The Client-Facing Product & Solutions Specialist assists the Sales, Client Advisory, Structuring and Product Management teams, as relevant, in the delivery of financial products and services, as well as financing solutions to clients, where applicable. The Client-Facing Product & Solutions Specialist will also conduct product selection, specifically selecting investment opportunities aligned with market events and customer trends.

Your key responsibilities:   

  • Enable business growth in the new-age economy (i.e. Fintechs, Online commerce platforms, Technology Companies, etc) through structured workflow solution advisory with clients, product and risk control functions.
  • Active client engagement in developing and advising on the bank’s solution for new-age economy clients (incl. topics related to risk management practices).
  • Domain expert within the business team to drive engagement with AFC, compliance and other functions on client work-flow solutions with specific focus on non-financial risk management.
  • Help shape the policy framework along with AFC and other stakeholders on non-financial risk management with respect to client risk reviews from an on boarding as well as transactional workflows (esp. Client Money Flows).
  • Provide business input into transaction monitoring design around the new-age client segment.
  • Specializes in understanding and assessing clients in this segment. Is able to evaluate the operational, regulatory and compliance aspects of on-boarding a Fintech as client, and drives requisite product road-map and delivery for this client segment.

Your skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills and subject matter experience in Financial Crime Monitoring (i.e. AML, Sanctions, and KYC).
  • Strong understanding of client payment flows and associated risks across multiple sectors of new-age economy (i.e. Payment Service Providers, Online commerce platforms, New Payment Method offerings, etc.). Is an expert in the AFC/ Transaction Monitoring domain with clear understanding of all the steps in the payment life-cycle from origination to settlement.
  • Strong Anti-Financial Crime experience working for global banks that are subject to wide regulatory obligations with presence across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Good client-facing experience in understanding their workflows and risk management practices.
  • At least 12+ years of experience of the above mentioned points . Additionally, experience of working with Fintech firm would help.
