Overview
The incumbent will be part of the Business Planning and Analysis team leading the implementation of data quality framework for Bank of Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Chair the Data Quality Cross-Functional working group meetings and facilitate in addressing cross departmental data quality issues on the Critical Data Elements, CDE, identified in the data quality checklist.
  • Represent BOS as part of OCBC's Data Governance Working committee jointly with other BU's data steward.
  • Update OCBC DGO on data quality issues and resolution progress. Bridge between OCBC DGO and the BOS's working group for guidance on data quality issues where necessary and assess training needs.
  • Owns and leads in the implementation of BOS's Data Quality Framework.
  • Administers the semi-annual attestation by the various department heads.
  • Represent data quality requirements of aligned business / division including any data quality issues raised in RCSA or other audit observations.
  • Ensure all stated functions of the BOS data governance structure are in place.
  • Perform high level screening for potential data quality issues on the CDE.


Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Banking or Finance.
  • CFA / CPA an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting in the banking industry.
  • Experience in audit and/or project management is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
