As the Innovation Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, shaping and executing initiatives within the Lab portfolios.

Key Objectives for the First 100 Days:
  • Understand innovation landscape and become a Lab ambassador
  • Project ownership including developing project milestones and stage gates to ensure we're failing fast, failing smart
  • Understand organizational structure, bank model, target customers and key business clients
  • Develop relationships with key internal partners

What You'll Do:
  • Identify business problems and develop pitch for solution
  • Understand the overall strategy and business problem, customer and market insights, and translate these into solution requirements
  • Responsible for defining customer experience, scope and MVP definition
  • Responsible for maximizing the value of the product; shaping and delivering MVP to clients that validates/invalidates the original hypothesis
  • Work across all phases of the project from insight, ideation, concept, design, to delivery and measurement
  • Prioritize use cases and collaborate with business to develop business case
  • Provides input into UX/UI development including use cases, user scenarios, user research, service benchmarking, wireframing and user experience specifications
  • Partners with usability strategist to develop testing strategy and scenarios; participates in test execution
  • Determines Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measurement
  • Supports technical team on identifying and addressing technical requirements
  • Manage relationship with business stakeholders and vendors
  • Gain approvals from all appropriate parties - legal, compliance, CPAC, Info Sec, etc.
  • Responsible for final report out with all findings and recommendations for next steps including potential implementation plan


    The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:
    • Minimum of bachelor's degree
    • 1-2 years of experience in an analyst type role or customer experience
    • In-depth understanding of the key drivers in a digital product/emerging technology business
    • Creative, passionate and thinks outside the box
    • Results-driven, problem-solver with structuring and analytic capabilities
    • Strong communicator that can serve multiple functions as needed
    • Comfortable in operating in a flat organization, all hand on deck
    • Strong ability to think and act strategically, even in situations of ambiguity, to develop both short and long term visions
