Description

Relationship Associate Head - Position working for the GSG Singapore business.  Manage a team of Relationship Associates, work closely with the Relationship Managers to cater for the needs of our clients, manage the credit and operational approvals and ensure compliance of regulations/policies and business controls.

Functions of the Relationship Associate team include:
  • Support Relationship Managers on major deals execution, client on-boarding, documentation, service/issue escalation, credit lines, pricing
  • Manage daily overdrafts in accordance with the credit control process; work with client on the funding arrangement for any excesses over approved limits or to flag for internal credit approvals
  • Manage CRI-operations memo referrals and any approval requests raised by the Operations
  • Liaise with the approving/control unit for credit lines allocation, preparation of letters of offer
  • Co-ordinate and monitor account opening/maintenance and deals requiring implementation
  • Manage fee pricing updates
  • Manage compliance and controls processes such as COB, quarterly MCA, KYC tracking and monitoring
  • Monitor compliance of relevant regulations and policies
  • Participate in new initiatives/ad-hoc projects to improve work efficiency and processes


Qualifications

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player and ability to work effectively with all parties in the network
  • Matured individual with leadership and energy, and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong time management skills and ability to turnaround fast, with a sense of urgency
  • Sound business and risk judgement, and respect for compliance and controls
  • Good knowledge of products and solutions across TTS, Markets, LPM, CMO.
  • Good knowledge of credit facilities
  • At least 7-8 years of banking experience in areas such as front office or operations or customer service
