Job Rationale: 

The Citi Liquidity Management Services (CLMS) group is responsible for a full range of products & solutions designed to allow client treasury organizations to create, access and deploy organic liquidity across their network.  The CLMS business provides clients with a means to harness and deploy excess cash balances in accordance with corporate guidelines and risk parameters.

The CLMS Solution Structuring Specialist will focus on dedicated structuring solution & packaging based on our full suite of liquidity management products and be a member of the Asia CLMS team.

The CLMS Solution Structuring Specialist will support all market management initiatives by driving client centric liquidity solution sales as CLMS Asia seeks to expand the reach of Liquidity solutions into all Asia countries and broader client segments covered by TTS.

Particular focus will be on drafting client liquidity solutions, catering to majority of the treasury center based regional clients and top tier local corporates in emerging markets in Asia. The role provides exposure to Liquidity & Investment products, solutions and the ability to formulate liquidity solutions to suite clients complex liquidity needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and execute the business strategy on the following parameters:

Liquidity Solution Structuring
  • Define Solutions structuring strategy for identified target market segments and
Build solution packages for client segments
  • Work with the Sales teams, Coverage teams to uncover client developments and identify opportunity within each segment/industry
  • Work with Regional Sales on key RFP's on liquidity solutions, ensuring Citi remains in the leadership position on liquidity solutions in the region/global. 
  • For non RFP clients, identify groups of clients and work with sales to translate client requirements into business requirements and execute liquidity solutions, provide an in depth understanding of client treasury behavior within client segment
  • Work closely with the Sales and product managers on the pricing structure of the proposed solutions
  • Work closely with the product managers to ensure that the proposed solutions falls within the product risk acceptance criteria and to drive due diligence reviews where required
  • Engage with Sales on the client pipeline management for CLMS solutions
  • Integrate several different solutions, and overlay structures for clients who are sophisticated in managing their treasury/liquidity needs.
  • Define liquidity solution features and product functionalities and manage the roadmap of liquidity solution sales to ensure Citi LMS maintains the market leader position.
  • Participate in client meetings/discussions as subject matter expert to craft appropriate Liquidity solutions for the clients.
  • Build a road map of thought leadership to represent Citi LMS solution strengths in the industry forums, regionally, globally.

Commercialization of Liquidity Product Solutions
  • Solution Positioning: Define commercialization strategy, identify target market segments to commercialize LM solutions
  • Work with partners (Sales, Bankers) to improve client experience and provide  feedback for product development and improvement
  • Build and disseminate client-facing materials to assist liquidity sales process
  • Provide periodic training to each of the above partner teams

Revenue Management
  • Revenue: Review key Liquidity revenue metrics for the client solutions
  • Formulate tactical/strategic pricing models to support bundled liquidity solutions
  • Define and continuously review pricing strategy with product Specialists to establish and refine pricing for client segments.

Performance will be measured against:

  • Solution Structuring Value - increase new & incremental revenue from CLMS solutions
  • Defend NRFF via active review of client segments and active sales of Liquidity solutions to maintain market share
  • Leadership - ability to integrate and LM solution sales with TTS Sales across regions. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly to both internal and external clients

  • Minimum of 6 years business experience in CLMS/ Transaction Services; experience in LMS products and product management
  • Bachelor's degree required.
