Senior/Infrastructure Security Consultant

The Senior Infrastructure Security Consultant is responsible for the governance and delivery of architecture, implementation, operations, monitoring and troubleshooting of network/application environments and Information Security technologies.

  • Analyze business/technical needs and recommend solutions adhering to both business goals and security objectives.
  • Provide advisory services on network security domains.
  • Develop and manage process, procedure, technical design, and system documentation.
  • Stay current on the latest network security threats and vulnerabilities as well as new and emerging security technologies
  • Build strong liaisons and working relationships with IT counterparts.
  • Proactively design and implement mitigating controls to secure enterprise environments
  • Architect/design and deploy new security tools and controls.
  • Manage and support security deployment on network infrastructure, WAN, systems (Linux and Wintel), and security infrastructure in support of Information Security.
  • Participate in infrastructure/application architecture and design boards and ensure proper Information Security policies and best practices are being followed.
  • Participate in and influence change management processes relating to security solutions.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor degree.
  • Professional certifications in Information security and/or network security will be advantages.
  • Architecture of large-scale network and application environments (including Internet-facing).
  • Solid understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite and related concepts and technologies
  • Experience designing and securing Cloud IaaS (AWS/Azure/Alibaba/Google).
  • Experience of working and securing Virtualization Technologies (VMWare NSX)
  • Experience with firewall technologies and products, including NextGen firewalls (e.g. Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto) and firewall management tools (Skybox, AlgoSec)
  • Experience with key security tools such as Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Data Loss Prevention, Web Application Firewalls, Web Proxies, Web Content Filtering; DDoS defense
  • Experience with system engineering, installation and administration of *NIX-based and Windows-based operating systems, system hardening and troubleshooting
  • Experience in handling network-based security incidents
  • Good understanding of End-Point Security (AV, HIPs, File Integrity, Host Based Firewall)
