An exciting role for a Senior Linux Engineer has come up with a leading bank with headquarters in Singapore. The Senior Linux Engineer will be part of a specialized team supporting electronic trading applications with sophisticated backend technology. This is a permanent role going up to AVP grade.
As a Senior Linux Engineer, you will support the bank's on-premise environment and will also be front and centre in helping the bank transform the environment to Public and Private Cloud platforms.
As an experienced Senior Linux Engineer, you value innovation and automation and will use these throughout your work to help enhance and accelerate the capabilities your team delivers to the business.
Your technical capabilities will include:
- Strong knowledge of Linux, preferably Red Hat
- In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting, capacity planning and performance tuning
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Python)
- Exposure to public and private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on business outcomes, specifically in a global and dynamic business environment
- Highly collaborative and driven to deliver outstanding solutions
