The Senior Program Manager role will be:
  • Reporting to the Global Consumer Technology Head of PMO with close partnership with the Regional Business Head of Transformation in initiating and managing strategic initiatives related to the transformation Taiwan and India
  • Overseeing programs and projects in the Transformation Portfolio for the region while partnering with the regional business in defining transformation roadmaps that can span for more than 3 years
  • Organizing workshops with participants from different domains of business, operations, compliance, audit and technology groups to derive common goals and milestones
  • Driving the Regional Steering Committee meetings, facilitating meetings with cross-functional program/project stakeholders, reporting program status and representing Consumer Technology in forums and audit reviews related to the Transformation Programs
  • Managing a team of Senior Project Managers located across multiple locations in delivering the projects under the program using either Agile or Waterfall methodologies
  • Monitoring program financials and participate in the yearly technology budgeting for the program


Qualifications

To qualify for this role, the candidate must:
  • Have a track record of successfully delivered multi-year programs with high technical complexity and strict deadlines from initiation to finish
  • Have at least 10 years of Project/Program Manager experience in managing critical initiatives of a multi-national financial institution and 10 years of managing co-located or geographically distributed project teams
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in managing a team - a team of Project Managers is preferred
  • Be a good communicator with an innovative technical thought leadership, outstanding facilitation skills and exceptional ability to engage diverse teams towards a common goal
  • An expert in Senior Stakeholder Management with exemplary reporting and presentation skills
  • BA/BS degree required, a master degree is preferred with experience in Banking and Investments
