Technical & Application Services – Business Planning & Support Analyst

Job Description:
This role is integral in providing day-to-day executive support for GTS management at the department level. The tasks include, but not limited to, the following:
  • Coordinate work across multiple stakeholders within tight deadlines
  • Consolidate, refine and present information from different sources
  • Craft workplans or messages succinctly and in a structured manner across mediums (e.g. presentations, emails, report)
  • Compute numbers, statistics and finances
  • Actively track and project resources information

Strategy Planning
  • Take guidance from GTS management to provide analytical and business proposal executive support for strategic and BAU demands
  • Research industry best practices to provide inputs to the guideline, standard and procedure enhancements
  • Work with GTS management team on the development, implementation and maintenance of GTS Target Operating Model

Plan and Organise
  • Track and report progress on action items for GTS focus and priority areas
  • Assist in the planning, organization and facilitation of GTS key events. For example, improvement initaitives and track follow-up actions
  • Provide tracking and reporting on the progress of the key pillars and focus areas

  • Provide timely status reports on the operating status of the 4 key pillars (Risk, Service, Finance, People) for GTS management
  • Work with the GTS management team to develop and implement plans for operational changes, particularly in the areas of process and people
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure that service requirements are agreed on and documented, and that service quality is transparent

  • Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent preferred with 4 to 5 years of experience
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate and coordinate effectively both within the team and with external stakeholders e.g. business, and technical counterparts in other teams to accomplish tasks and deliver results
  • Ability to be a team player and possess strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Good analytical and strategic capability
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable in dealing with details
  • Proficient in office productivity and collaboration tools
