Description
This position is responsible for advising the network and providing up to date tax and structuring updates and initiating tax compliant solution platforms for the Wealth Planners to assist with the marketing of holistic wealth planning solutions, and will play in integral role in the business development of new wealth planning products and services and training of RMs/MAs in selected markets.
Specific scope of work includes:-
• Researching, analyzing and interpreting of changing tax legislation and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations and BOS Trust Offerings Offers and provide proposals with tax advice for complex trust structures eg Private Trust Companies, Family Governance, & Philanthropy
• Prepare practical and effective approaches to the clients' tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions
• Assist in the development of recommendations and implementation plans for Wealth Planning solutions and strategies, and assist in making quality decisions in complex tax areas
• Prepare customized advance cheat sheets on legal and tax matters as well as Family Office, Family Governance and Philanthropy issues relating to HNW Wealth Planning for various jurisdictions for internal usage as well as client fact sheets for external circulation and maintaining an up-to-date Wealth Planning Intranet resource center for RM access
• Conduct regular training on Wealth Planning solutions and relevant tax/legal updates to Front Office, and source/organize for external trainers for RMs on all Wealth Planning issues
• Develop network of professional legal and tax network of external advisors that WP, BOSTL and RMs can leverage on all Wealth Planning issues, including philanthropy and family governance
• Countries Coverage include but not limited to Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Middle East, Dubai, Japan, Thailand, UK, Australia, India

Qualifications
Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years working experience as an accredited Wealth Planner & Trust Specialist or related role preferably in a global legal firm/CPA/private bank environment .
• Advanced written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work as an independent self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a wide cross section of stakeholders
