We realize potential in private markets by financing and developing great companies, desirable real estate and essential infrastructure. We create value in our investments through active and long-term responsible ownership.

What it's about
In order to complement our growing Investment Platform Operations team in Zug, we are seeking a senior investment operations professional/Project Manager with responsibility for two areas in particular

Support Head Investment Platform Operations on maintaining the oversight of key processes and projects:

  • In particular, the seamless operation of Partners Group's Global Investment Committee (GIC) in close cooperation with the GIC Chair
  • Coordination with Partners Group CIO to ensure proper oversight over the investment platform by Partners Group's Investment Oversight Commmittee
  • Various projects aiming to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and controls relating to our investment related processes

Supplier Relationship Management for investment data and research providers:
  • Professionalize and build out the management of investment data service providers at Partners Group
  • Stay up to date with respect to the offerings of current as well as alternative providers
  • Continually monitor and evaluate existing service providers
  • Coordinate closely with Partners Group's various investment teams (Private Debt, Private Equity, Private Real Estate, Private Infrastructure) to understand their current and future requirements, and to make sure the selection of services we subscribe to makes sense for the entire investment platform
  • Propose subscribing to new services as well as enhancing or terminating existing services according to the needs of the investment platform
  • Negotiate pricing with existing and new service providers
  • Oversee and track data service provider expenses versus budget

What we expect
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Business Administration or similar
  • Ideally 5-7 years' work experience in the financial industry, preferably within business management, process management or similar; experience with a data service provider is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English, able to engage and motivate others across all levels of seniority. Proficiency in German is of advantage, but not required
  • A self-directed and independent person, able to manage tasks effectively and complete them within demanding timelines, and willing to take charge and be accountable for areas of responsibility
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with products offered by investment data service providers such as Bloomberg or S&P Capital IQ is a plus

What we offer
  • Partners Group is a financial institution that retains the culture, pace and agility of a start-up. As a growing firm, we offer our employees a great place to work and develop professionally where success is recognized and rewarded. Partners Group is an equal opportunity employer and supports diversity of perspectives.
