Senior Product Owner
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for a Senior Product Owner for a 6 month contract.
Tasks will involve:
-Aligning different stakeholder interests with feasibility on business and IT side
-Gaining an in-depth understanding of business and IT environment
-Gaining common understanding through communicating across various teams and business areas
-Representing the business stakeholders for the process design and implementation
-Defining features, epics and user stories and prioritizing them for agile development
-Engaging with key stakeholders of Compliance, Digital Banking, Front Office, Tax, Regulatory, Operations and General Counsel (and maybe more, depending of the actual topic)
-Approving / rejecting the implementation done by the IT team
-Management and conceptual set-up of end-to-end requirements with a Business perspective
-Comply with policies and standards typical of a large organization
The successful candidate will bring:
-10+ years of experience in a Project Management role (with Agile delivery) or Product Owner
-Strong understanding of key business processes in the Financial Industry, especially in the regulatory space
-Extensive Agile Project Management & Delivery within the Financial Industry
-Experience in KYC or client onboarding
-Ability to deal with different cultures and locations (Onshore, Nearshore, Offshore)
-Experience in either Target Operating Model definition, Business Process re-engineering or Business Workflow implementation
-A high level of service orientation, strong communication skills and ability to learn
-Analytical and critical mind-set in order to challenge and improve existing processes
-Team player with experience in stakeholder management
-Fluency in German will be highly beneficial
