Our client is a US FinTech Firm, looking for a newly created role to hire an experienced professional who has strong sales, business development and relationship management skills.

This Taiwan based Sales Manager role, focus on generating new business across all of companies products and will be reporting to the Regional Head of Sales. Although incumbent will receive some incoming leads, you will be responsible for sales and business development for North Asia Market. Your target clients will be both buy side (like asset manager/ hedge funds/ advisory firms) and sell side (like banks/ insurance firms) markets. We’re looking for someone with hands-on initiative, strong leadership, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

You will be involved in activities such as:

  • Exceed the sales target, which is based on new business from new clients and growing an existing base of business
  • Lead the sales efforts for a new, innovative consumer wealth product, in a startup like environment
  • Develop account/territory strategies and work closely with other sales professionals, product, development, and marketing teams to execute on those strategies to provide world-class products to our clients. We want someone who can bring ideas and challenge the team to find creative ways to connect with potential investors
  • Uncover client business needs and work with internal teams to determine optimal solutions
  • Take part in user forums and other activities with prospects and clients such as conferences and exhibitions
  • You will be responsible for accurate and timely reporting using Salesforce and managing the contracts for new and renewal business

You will possess:

  • 5+ years of business-to-business sales and relationship management experience, preferably in the financial services and corporate sector
  • Prior experience selling Research, Data, Analytics, Cloud based subscription products is preferred
  • Talented communicator and face-to-face presenter, able to demonstrate expert-level knowledge of the products
  • Skilled at working as part of a team, sharing information, leads, market information, and competitive feedback with product management, sales colleagues, and management
  • Excellent written and spoken Chinese & English language skills are required
