Tier 1 IB is seeking a high calibre individual with experience building critical software and resilient and self-healing platforms, to join their Global Fraud Technology team as an Engineering Manager. Furthermore, this individual will have significant experience with both Java and NoSQL along with leading a team within an Agile delivery environment. Previous experience within Banking/Fraud is not necessary for this role.

My client, a tier 1 IB is seeking a high calibre individual with experience building critical software and resilient and self-healing platforms, to join their Global Fraud Technology team as an Engineering Manager.

Furthermore, this individual will have significant experience with both Java and NoSQL along with leading a team within an Agile delivery environment. Previous experience within Banking/Fraud is not necessary for this role.

Responsibilities
* Building the platform for preventing and detecting fraud
* Hiring and managing software engineers
* Decreasing the number of customers who get bad customer experience because of fraud
* Driving the architecture and design of the platform
* Integrating the platform into various products such as retail bank accounts, debit cards, credit cards, mortgages and loans, merchant acquiring, etc.
* Managing the software development lifecycle that results in faster, better and cheaper products/platforms.

Person Specification
* Strong background in building platforms and public aps.
* Experience building critical software with 5 nines availability.
* Experience building high performance (20 milliseconds response times) software.
* Experience building resilient and self-healing platforms
* Experience with OLTP as well as NoSQL technologies
