A leading challenger bank who has made their mark as being a specialist lender and savings bank are recruiting within the treasury department to have a lead person for all their ALM System requirements. This role will suit a traditional ALM practitioner who is systems savvy and enjoys manipulating data structures or a ALM systems specialist early in their career and looking for an opportunity for a broader role with more responsibility.

Responsibilities:               

Working within the ALM team, currently responsible for the analysis, reporting and management of the banks Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk and Funds Transfer Pricing, your mandate of owner of the ALM system will underpin the access and accuracy of all data required for effective and prudent balance sheet management. You will be a key person in the treasury team leading monthly forums, quarterly upgrades and acting as the functional expert on future system developments.

 

Requirements:  

  • Currently working as an ALM Systems Analyst with technical skills in either QRM, Fermat, Kamakura or Oracle (OFSAA); or an ALM analyst interpreting systems reports for Liquidity and or IRR, who is systems savvy and wants to redirect their career
  • Strong understanding of data structures, how reports are built, its usage and how to test it
  • Understand the back-end of a data system and how data from multiple sources feeds in and the documentation required to maintain the system
  • Ability to perform basic scripting and indexing within SQL and VBA
  • Database configuration, tables, queries, preferably with MS Access
