What is the opportunity?
This role comprises working on M&A and financing transactions in the European financial institutions sector; working on both the origination and execution of transactions, preparing market analysis, financial analysis, strategic analysis, and financial modelling for clients in the sector, as well as advising clients on their strategy and the sucessful implementation of transactions.

What will you do?
  • Assisting in execution of mandated deals
  • Assisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
  • Gathering public information through numerous sources
  • Creating financial model analyses
  • Building company forecast models
  • Valuation analysis
  • Analysing company performance on an absolute and relative bases
  • Drafting marketing documents such as Confidential Information Memorandums for financings and/or sell-side assignments
  • Producing and maintaining various databases
  • General research

What do you need to succeed?
  • Some knowledge of financial services accounting and/or regulatory capital and/or valuation analysis through their current employment
  • Understanding of the sector, the key players, strategic dynamics, as well as the current issues facing the sector
  • Sound judgement and strong analytical/numerical skills

  • Degree level qualification
  • Accountancy or Actuary qualification
  • Corporate Finance experience
