We are currently working on behalf of our client, a leading provider within Audit, Consulting, Financial Advisory, Tax and Risk Management is looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager Portfolio Lead Advisory Services on a 6 month contract based in London

Background

As part of the firm's Corporate Finance practice, will position you to provide advice and support on a wide range of financial asset portfolio transactions.

 

Role

As an Assistant Manager/Manager in PLAS, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of transactions/projects where you will:

· Support clients through the portfolio analysis process - developing outstanding technical skills and commercial awareness

· Work as part of a team to design and develop financial analysis in order to enhance our diverse range of clients' analysis and decision making processes

  • Work to tight deadlines quickly adding value on complex, high profile and sensitive projects
  • Take an active role in business development initiatives which could include being closely aligned to specific clients and geographies
  • Be expected to be innovative in developing client solutions and also in driving the PLAS strategy forward

Essential Criteria

  • Have prior banking or loan/financial investment experience - prior corporate finance or transaction experience is a plus
  • Be ACA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Have strong business diagnostic skills and the ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Have a methodical and logical mindset to problem solving, an effective approach to time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Have strong Excel skills - other relevant technical analytical skills could also be an advantage
  • Language is key for this role, desirable if you speak Mandarin, Italian/Spanish
