My client, a leading international bank in London, are looking for an experienced Associate Director to join their Corporate Banking team to look after Consumer & Healthcare clients across the UK and Europe.
The role of the Associate Director Consumer & Healthcare, is to support the marketing and origination of new business opportunities globally across the Consumer & Healthcare clients located in the UK, Ireland & EMEA region.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the management and development of existing and prospective global client relationships across the Consumer & Healthcare sector clients located in the UK, Ireland & some of Europe.
- Support business generation efforts in a bid to optimise income, cross sell opportunities, client base and return on risk capital
- Support the broadening of the banks ability to support clients across our range of product offerings establishing Corporate dialogue and also support IB / M&A style dialogue at senior management levels.
- Development and demonstration of a deep understanding of the issues and drivers for each client within the Consumer & Healthcare sectors
- Support the management of credit related client requests / proposals
- Support the preparation of analysis and business rationale that supports requests within the Consumer & Healthcare sector
- Support the maximisation of revenue generation including cross-sell opportunities
- Support effective relationships within client companies and help develop linkss
- Take increased level of client responsibility and dialogue, acting as junior Relationship Manager for a number of relationships, developing contact points at within the client.
- Other duties as may be requested by Managing Director, Consumer & Healthcare
- Mentor, support and develop an Associate within the team
Qualifications, and experience required:
- University Degree or equivalent with professional qualifications
- Experience in the Consumer and/or Healthcare sector is desired
- Experience working within the Corporate Banking team at another bank is essential
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, modelling knowledge and skills in corporate finance
- Ability to interpret and analyse corporate accounts
- Experience in monitoring credit lines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills

- Proven track record in desktop analysis
