We are seeing a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract to support the COO of EMEA Equities based in London. The role will focus on the reviewing data from a number of departments within the Equities division and manipulating to produce standard and ad-hoc reports for the COO and wider team.

Role

We are seeing a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract to support the COO of EMEA Equities based in London.  The role will focus on the reviewing data from a number of departments within the Equities division and manipulating to produce standard and ad-hoc reports for the COO and wider team.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are:

  • Produce standard and ad-hoc reports via Excel
  • Regular reviewing of and analyzing reports; P/L / trading / market share / accounts / client profitability etc…
  • Reviewing and manipulating internal and external data
  • Liaising with Sales / Trading / Sales Trading on a regular basis
  • Work closely with the wider COO team and Operational departments
  • Supporting the COO on Project Management

Person Specification

The following skills and experience are required for this role:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential
  • Strong data manipulation and reporting skills
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
  • Degree educated
  • Knowledge of Equities is desirable
  • Knowledge of accounting principles is essential
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to deal with multiple stakeholder opinions
  • Strong attention to detail; accuracy with all work is essential
