We are looking for a talented professional with experience in Risk & Control to help us fulfil an opening in our Technology & Operations COO Risk team. You will help manage, sustain and develop a range of risk management processes and governance routines.

We seek individuals who are either already working in Risk & Control role or have performed one in the past. Through this experience you should be able to demonstrate good experience of risk management tools and techniques which will be essential in being successful in this team.

Responsibilities:
As an experienced Risk & Control Specialist your role will be to support risk management processes and governance routines which include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting analytical routines for the EMEA T&O COO Risk team.
  • Monitoring and analysis of Key Risk Indicators, including but not limited to:
  • Audit Reports rated Less than Satisfactory;
  • Self-Identified and Audit-Identified issue management;
  • Top Risks, Emerging Risks and Get-to-Green plans;
  • Operational Loss Events and Near Misses
  • Leading the governance of T&O PRC Inventory including relevant MI.
  • Collaborating in the production of periodic Regional T&O Risk & Control Self-Assessments and Residual Risk Heatmaps.
  • Assisting with the production of materials for senior management and governance forums. E.g. Risk Forum, Audit Committees, Board Updates and Regulatory Requests.
  • Assisting with EMEA T&O Conduct Risk Programme.

Requirements:
  • Experience of risk management tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of technology and/or operations functions
  • Functional experience of global banking and/or global markets.
  • Logical problem solver with the ability to assess and synthesize information with clarity and precision.
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient MS Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • The ability to develop lasting relationships with business partners.
  • Demonstrable self-motivation and a results-oriented approach.
  • The ability to deliver results with limited direction and supervision.
  • A drive for achieving operational excellence, with excellent attention to detail.
