Financial Controller (Leading Hedge Fund - Strong Compensation - Exciting Progression)

An exciting senior leadership position in one of the world’s leading and diverse hedge funds has arisen for a Senior Financial Controller.

The client are one of the world’s market leaders when it comes to AuM but also innovation and reputation. What started out as a leading traditional hedge fund has now diversified into full alternatives investor also operating extensively in the private equity and venture capital sectors.

They are a global brand at the forefront of technology with platforms spanning various sectors and industries. With the new complexities of this new structure they are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Controller to help with the leadership and direction of the global expansion.

It’s a diverse role covering all aspects of finance, tax, regulatory, and compliance. You will take lead on all controls and reporting whilst being an integral part of projects including new acquisitions and new business initiatives. There will also be a large infrastructure, systems and processes overhaul which has the backing of significant investment to ensure it is the most advanced, automated and efficient within the industry.

The compensation and progression are unrivalled. The remuneration culture is one of high performance/high reward and can be multiples of your base salary. There are infinite progression opportunities if you are capable and ambitious with several global side projects spinning out of the Group. Depending on experience you can expect to be a CFO in 3-5 years.

There is a huge opportunity here. You must be somebody that is consistently looking to improve and lead from the front and looking to take on responsibility from the CFO.


  • Strong academic profile (2.1 degree and above)
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Significant relevant financial services experience (hedge fund/private equity)
  • Extensive systems experience
  • Excellent communicator and ability to work under pressure
