My client a well-recognised Investment Bank is seeking a Finance Business Manager to work within their Global Technology division. The role is for a Financials Business Manager with cost management experience (preferably within an Information Technology Business Management function), to assist the Europe and Asia Business Manager with the Financial management for UK and Europe.

Tasks include:
- Cost Management Control; Headcount Management
- Cost Management including but not limited to: Review & reporting of Actual, Forecasting, Aiding Transit owners with managing their costs, Management of Prepayments/Accruals, Yearly Planning process, Year End Processes and Delegation of authority
- Project Financials
- Cost Allocations
- Process: Documentation of processes, Process Improvements and globalisation of processes
- Reporting: Monthly reporting on actual spend v plan/forecast, Monthly headcount reporting and Monthly verification of seating plan
To be considered for this role you must be Part or fully qualified accountant. Strong computer skills and comfort manipulating data in Microsoft Excel to produce pivot tables & charts. Proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint. Previous experience in Cost Management is essential, preferably within an IT department and ideally within a banking environment. Understanding of financial processes such as planning, accruals, prepayments, etc. is required
