My client, a reputable bank is looking for a Front to Back Lead to join their team based in London. They are looking for Data/Change Business Analyst with good experience in Risk/Finance or Treasury to join their Risk, Finance and Treasury Data Management team.

Responsibilities:

The role will be an integral support for the delivery of Group Data strategy within the RFT Data Management Office. It will focus on driving the interlock and alignment between Risk, Finance and Treasury. The successful candidate will be working closely with the functional leads, Business units and Group to ensure effective transition of RFT data requirements across all stakeholder groups.

  • Manage the interlock between RFT and the BUs to enable Front to Back delivery of the Data Management Standards
  • Work with BU Functional Leads to ensure smooth transition of RFT data requirements into the BU
  • Drive with RFT Functional Leads and Accountable Executives the creation of streamlined and interlocked approaches for delivery
  • Support devising the roll out plans for Data Domain Owners across the Group and Business Units to define scope with BU CDOs
  • Manage the work load and priorities for the Metadata Management and Data Lineage teams
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and functional leads
  • Manage and maintain the flow of communication between key stakeholders across RFT
  • Ensure documented across all functions is done in a consistent and transparent ways
  • Escalate issues through Functional Leads, BU and Group Data Councils and ensure holistic remediation if applicable across functions
  • Provide updates and report on alignment activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BSc/BEng)
  • Experience in Data Management
  • Strong understanding of Data Management concepts
  • Strong attention to detail & willingness to learn and be curious
  • Excellent communication skills and track record of operating amongst senior management teams
  • Experience in facilitating large workshops / running cross-border meetings
  • A self-starter able to work with high level guidance, and a clear end goal
  • Capacity to work proactively with colleagues across the organisation to build transparent, lasting relationships, delivering real value to the organization
  • Understanding of Risk, Finance and Treasury functions within banking industry
  • Knowledge of Project Lifecycle methods (e.g. Software Development Lifecycle, Agile) and understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management
  • Excellent MS-Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, MS Project and Visio skills
