GS EMEA New Product - Cash & Long Term Savings Product Specialist

Working closely with stakeholders in GS across EMEA and globally, the role will focus on:
  • Client deposit analysis and internal reporting needs, working closely with Global Deposit Solution team
  • Support the continued development of Passive Cash Sweep and new cash product offering through a close interaction with cross-organizational teams (SSGM and SSGA).
  • The role will support product solutions for Insurance clients, understanding their operating models and building out State Street solutions.
Role specifics
  • Develop a consistent knowledge of Client Deposit behaviour, through a constant interaction with Client Facing teams
  • Take an active role in the EMEA Product Team to develop leadership and organizational skills
  • Support GS EMEA Pricing Committee Lead taking the lead on the preparation, coordination and submission of Client pricing exception requests to the Committee
  • Coordinate and support Ops teams across the various GS EMEA sites on the Incremental Rate Charges process, taking ownership of Senior Management regional reporting
  • Work to be proactive in finding areas of improvement without guidance from manager, while also taking the lead and showing leadership ability in taking the initiative to find and implement solutions
  • Enhance and maintain GS EMEA deposit SharePoint
  • Help in representing EMEA cash product team as a stakeholder in the Banking Modernization Project
  • Keep updated on industry initiatives and regulatory impacts
  • Provide administrative support for active projects sponsored by the product team
  • Assist with the formulation of business cases and proposal papers for new ideas arising from both technology and market changes
  • Develop understanding of various initiatives sponsored by the product team to formulate management reports and investment scorecards
  • Build and maintain a virtual group of product SMEs across EMEA locations to build market knowledge and create a feedback loop for enhancements and ideas for current Products and Solutions.

    • Adapt new global solutions & products, taking into account local requirements and regulations
Educate Client Development teams on solutions and product capabilities
