IT Business Analyst / Project Manager (BCBS239) required by large Investment Bank, based in London to work within the Bank's Front/Middle Office Risk IT area on the regulatory initiatives BCBS239 as well as strategic systems change programmes. You will require skills in Data Analysis, Problem Solving, as well as some project management support.

You will have recent and extensive Investment Banking experience as a hands-on IT Business Analyst / Project Manager, ideally with an understanding of Risk domain knowledge (Risk and or Regulatory Reporting within a Front or Middle office area coupled with a proven track record in the delivery of complex IT programs in financial institutions with a globally distributed team.

  • Excellent Data Analysis and Problem Solving skills
  • Risk and/or Regulatory Reporting
  • Knowledge in Data Quality Management, Data Governance, Change Management and Regulations

  • Detailed understanding of project lifecycles in complex technical environments
  • adept at working independently (self-starter, individual contributor) as well as managing others, especially by influence.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills, including running meetings
  • Excellent ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels (Business MDs, Developers, BA's, Change leads)
  • Capability to influence senior stakeholders and be seen as trusted IT partner
