My client is a leading global bank, with a growing presence in a some of the world’s most dynamic markets. As a result of an increased book of project work and a strong demand on the team, they are looking to grow and bring on board a Director level Project Manager to deliver critical business IT change projects. The successful candidate will work on projects in Brexit, New Product Development and Operational Synergy.

They have a strong presence across Asia and a growing presence in Europe, Africa & The Middle East, with strong plans to continue growing. With 26,000 employees, $1.8 trillion assets under management and their European Head Office in London, they offer exciting and challenging career opportunities.

In London they have a centralised business change & transformation team, responsible for designing and delivering critical change initiatives across the bank. The team is growing and the business has seen real value in the work they do and therefore have been given more project work to be involved in. As a result of an increased book of project work and a strong demand on the team, they are looking to grow and bring on board a Director level Project Manager to deliver critical business IT change projects. The successful candidate will work on projects in Brexit, New Product Development and Operational Synergy.

 

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in Project Management, specifically IT
  • Strong experience in project implementation
  • Must come from a Financial Services Background, ideally a mid-size bank or Big 4 consultancy, with an understanding in front to back processes
  • Understanding of various asset classes
  • Excellent communication, control, governance and planning skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Track record of successfully delivering business change
