A Ways of Working Project Manager with experience of defining and implementing global flexible working arrangements, working with HR, Technology and Real Estate teams to define and deliver a total flexible working strategy.

Location Strategy Manager

Essential

  • Strong planning, organisational, and coaching skills
  • Excellent at managing and influencing a wide network of stakeholders, including senior management, who can influence and build relationships
  • Proven experience managing people and teams in multiple locations
  • Expert knowledge of financial management, risk, and project management methodologies
  • Expert knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation and cost control
  • Excellent documentation skills; ability to create high quality steering committee materials
  • More than 10 years of project or programme experience
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

Preferred

  • Global experience – working successfully with teams in multiple locations simultaneously
  • Experience and knowledge of large scale, global, change programmes and portfolio management
  • Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations
  • Background in working across a number of different sectors both business and IT related projects/programmes
  • Knowledge of technology estates and technologies desirable

Assignment Specific Information

  • Subject matter expertise - Experience of defining and implementing global flexible working arrangements in a similar organization working with HR, Technology and Real Estate teams to define and deliver a total flexible working strategy.

Principal Outputs required (not exhaustive)

  • Flexible working business case (approved by the Integration programme and including both £ and non £ costs and benefits)
  • Flexible working policy (agreed with the business for global application and including H&S or similar requirements)
  • Flexible Working Playbook (for HR Technology and Property teams to enable effective and appropriately consistent implementation, should include regional variations as required) to include;
  • Flexible working people proposition
  • Flexible working Technology toolkit
  • Flexible working Real estate toolkit
  • Training Programme for Leaders Managers and Individual Contributors to support the implementation of the required culture, policies and processes 
  • Induction materials to support new joiners
