Market Research Manager

Responsibilities:

• Plans and helps to execute research projects, working closely with decision-makers in EMEA and other members of the GMR team to ensure methodology and scope are appropriate for business needs.
• Analyses large datasets for the purposes of driving actionable insights. Mines data from a wide range of primary and secondary sources and synthesizes information to create and deliver actionable insights, often in the form of executive presentations.
• Leverages internal and external databases, public websites, and news outlets for purposes of supplementing market research. Collaborates and develops recommendations for stakeholders. May engage with clients in partnership with sales and marketing stakeholders.
• Can apply statistical methods to examine and analyse data on clients and the marketplace to support business development, distribution strategy, segmentation analysis, and special projects.
• Create supporting exhibits (tables, graphs) for leadership and key stakeholder presentations. Manages research projects of moderate scope and coordinates findings into presentations for senior leaders.
• Contributes to the development of a consolidated research and insight repository (insights engine) to enable more effective and efficient storage, retrieval, and exchange of proprietary and third-party research across the firm and help drive more informed decision-making.
• Collaborates with senior stakeholders to establish research/analytical methodologies for the area/department in support of new business development and retention of existing revenue streams. Is highly personable, has gravitas and can ‘read the room’. Strong product, market, and competitor knowledge a distinct advantage.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
• 5+ years of total relevant work experience
